Blended learning (or personalized learning) is an innovative approach to instruction that utilizes technology in the classroom to support individualized differentiation, constructivist learning, and opportunities for student self-monitoring and collaboration. It is rapidly gaining traction on a global scale because of its impact on student engagement but limited training opportunities can make it challenging for teachers to learn and implement it. This interactive course offers an introduction to the blended learning approach and uses blended learning strategies to share both instructional philosophy and resources. Participants will understand how individualized differentiation and project-based learning can engage students and impact learning.

Dates and times offered:

  • Saturday, October 22 from 3:00pm – 4:15pm PST
  • Sunday, October 30 from 11:00am – 12:15pm PST
  • Another session can be arranged for groups of four or more.  Please contact me at stepan_mekhitarian@post.harvard.edu to arrange an alternate session if you are emailing on behalf of a group of four or more.
